Mini VACA

A couple of weeks ago went on a mini vacation with the girls. We decided to take them about an hour and a half north of LA to a city called Camarillo. We had a really fun time. It started out with a little shut eye on the way
Then we went put put golfing. Hayley was wondering where the ball went???? Since the girls were too young to drive the bumper cars they decided driving the bat mobile would have to suffice. The girls loved loved loved the pool at the hotel, mom just liked the hot tub
Because our hotel had a very nice fire pit we decided it would be fun to roast marshmallows. Well as luck would have it the fire pit didn't work, but the gas BBQ worked great. We were thrilled that Uncle Luke and Whitney were able to come up and play with us.
The best quote of the night was by Aubree, we let them stay up late and play with us and watch a movie. Aubree came over and asked Eli, "daddy is this what you and mom do every night after we go to sleep?" So sweet...
The week end was so fun, but ended a little sad. As we were getting ready to leave Aubree was "dummy checking" the room and tripped and cut her eye right under eyebrow open. We took her to the urgent care and the dr said it didn't need stitch's it could be glued together. Aubree did really well and didn't cry at all once the nurse started working on her.
