If you watch the news you have probably heard that the numbers of bees on the earth are fewer and fewer. While we were in Utah you wouldn't have known it. I stopped counting the number of nests we (not me, Trey) sprayed. Some of the nests were too high up to reach so Trey would spray them and we were going to knock them down later, and before we could knock them off new bees would nest in them.

August Utah Trip 2009
This year our Utah trip started out differently Kaleb drove us to Utah, with Grandma. Eli's older brother Karl and his family were going to be there at the same time so we made it a fun road trip in the red van. We stopped in Cedar for Eli's cousin's missions farwell. Here is Uncle Kaleb and Hayley swimming in the pool at the hotel:Here is Aubree doing what she likes best at any pool, playing in the hot tub.
If you are ever making that drive, Cedar City has a great McDonalds.
Aubree loved loved the slides while,
Hayley loved the ball pit
Especially playing with Uncle KalebAll and all it was a fun uneventful road trip, aren't those the best kind? Well almost Hayley did get a little:

Surprise!!!!
If you know Eli you know he LOVES red velvet cupcakes. So the girls and I decided to surprise Eli with some. We got online and got the recipe from Paula Dean, who better? We went to the store for the ingredients and Aubree picked out the cupcake papers and sugar hearts for the tops. When we were done baking and decorating we had some time to kill so we played blocks and Aubs created this great block tower for Eli, so naturally it got a place next to the cupcakes. Everyone loved them:

And especially Hayley:
Its always nice to make those you love happy, and the cupcakes defiantly did the job!

Happiest Place on Earth just because...
We took the girls to Disneyland because Eli was down near there for work. So we thought it would be a fun place to have dinner.
It was the first time Hayley road on the carousel horse by herself, she was so happy. Aubs loves the carousel horses, she gives them each a name and has to give them a kiss when the rides over.
The girls aren't to keen about Mr. Toads wild ride, but love the car for pictures out front.
They each had to take a turn driving the other.

Take me out to the ball game:
This past summer we took to Mormon night at Dodger Stadium. We had so much fun and to top it off we won. We stayed for 4 innings and the girls did really well, it helped that Grandma and Grandpa were there to help entertain them.
Aren't the girls outfits perfect? the right colors and everything. Eli's boss and his wife gave them to us when Hayley was born and they still fit. I love this picture of the girls with Grandpa Robert. I love that Aubree is looking at Grandpa so lovingly and he at her. Hayley looks concerned, but that is because Manny wasn't playing so hot.
At the end of the game both girls were so tired they both had to be carried back to the car, we put Aubs down for the cute picture (she wasn't to thrilled) with daddy.

mommies little helper
Once day while Aubree was taking a nap Hayley decided she didn't need one, so she helped me make taco roll ups. ( a family favorite appetizer). I couldn't keep her out of it, so when we were done I just let her at the bowl. That made her so happy.

girls will be girls
95% of what ever is wrong can be fixed by just taking the girls outside. They love to be outside. Hayley has caught the do everything sister is doing whether she is big enough or not to bug. And like there mom, to make it better a Diet Pepsi:
They do a pretty good job of sharing the big toysDid you know wearing a princess dress with rain boots in the black?
