Occasionally we go and pick Eli up from work. Mostly we do this to get out of the house but sometimes we do it before we all need to be somewhere. Last week we went and picked him up so that I could make my step class on time. We were in the turning lane behind a few cars, it was taking forever and we missed the light 2 times because there was so much traffic. As the light turned green we had a turn arrow multiple cars went turned before us, I thought this was it we were finally going to get to turn. As the light changed from a green arrow to a green light the car infront of me didn't even attampt to enter the intercetion then it happened the light turned yellow and then red. Stuck again. Hello, left turn YIELD on green, I was so frustrated that I said outloud, " oh, come on dude". Little did I know those words would come to haunt me. Yesterday as we drove to pick Eli up every single red light we hit Aubree would say, "come on dude". Then after 4-5 times at one light she said to me, "mom it didn't work, the light won't change." That's right Aubree now thinks that this is how to change the light. I am just glad it was something harmless, you never know what the little ears will pick up. Right Brett? BEEP BEEP.
