I scream, U scream, we all scream for ICECREAM

Eli planned a dessert Party for my birthday, and invited all of our friends. The patio is perfect for a party just like this. Everyone brought some dessert and we had lots of ice cream and drinks for all. It was the perfect beginning of a wonderful Birthday. Eli and Aubree's friend Julie greeting our guests:Eli being the amazing husband and father and entertaining all of the kids with games and bubbles:The patio with our friends My friends daughter Emma drew this cute picture for me.Aubree enjoying her dessert. I think all of us left the party on a sugar high.

and the girl was swimming all around

Our good friends were house sitting for a family member so we were invited to go over to swim in the pool. If you know my family you know that we love to swim. So who could turn down swimming especially with good friends. The pool was great and the hot tub was even better(if you ask me). To top it off they have a very sweet and loving dog, which my girls love. We had a blast and are very grateful to our dear friends.
getting ready to eat after swimming.

My family is my life.

The other day we were out and Aubree was having so much fun playing on this tree. She was sitting there posing and singing. She was so cute I had to take her picture. Then Daddy and Hayley had to join. Can I just tell you how much I love my family. I wouldn't change a single day with them, I just wish they would pass slower.

A little caterpillar can't hurt a thing....

The girls and I decided that it would be fun to make Eli a little treat as a little welcome home gift the last time he went out of town. I looked on the Wilton web site and found this easy kid friendly design. Aubree picked out the colors and then after I put the icing on she put the sprinkles. It was really fun and not very messy. I think I am going to try and do something with her in the kitchen once a week or two.
PS Eli loved them.

Spring cleaning again.

For the last couple of months Eli and I have talked about getting a new shower head. Our old one has been here since we moved in 3 1/2 years ago. I have taken it apart so many times and soaked it in every cleaning product known to man, it never looks clean. So I finally decided enough is enough. Sometimes I get a project idea and I can't wait for Eli to come home and help me, this is just one of those projects. I decided to change it, through the girls in the car, got to OSH, bought it, and installed it. So here is my new shower head. Isn't it pretty. I LOVE IT!!! It is amazing how much water pressure we get now, it used to terribble. The water also doesn't seem to take as long to get warm. Who knew something that cost $25 dollars could make such a difference. So if anyone need a little help chaning a shower head, I now am a pro.

When you're the best of friends...part 1

We have hit a very sad reality that we knew was coming but were never ready for. Because we live so close to USC we get some Med/Dental students in our ward. Well of course these sweet people that are only here as a little pit stop in their lives become some of our nearest and dearest friends. But as you guessed it they move on, and leave us here to pick up the pieces and make new friends. I must say that I knew that this is how it was, but now its not just Eli and I that are effected my sweet Aubree's friends are moving away as well. So here is the first and definatly not the last to move.

When I was 18 months old I became friends with April who is one of my best friends till this day. It is a friendship that picks up right where it left off everytime we see each other. Like mother like daughter because Aubree and Kamryn became friends at about 8 months old. We had Kamryn over a few times to get her out of packing. The last time she came over it hit me that she was leaving, not forever and ever but for a little while. We miss and love her sweet family. I am happy that things have worked out for them, but also very sad.

Take our picture...please

Whenever I get the camera out of my diaper bag to put it away or to put new batteries in it Aubree wants me to take her picture. So here are some of those pictures I just take to make her happy and then when I look back at them they make me happy.

Here she is being like Captian Oso on Disney channel and Hayley is just dieing to keep up.Hayley was just thrilled to have found a buddy and Aubree decided that if she put this scarf on her head than she was just like Mary. (mother of Jesus)
Papa has taught the girls that if they climb on the aerobed and let it deflate it is almost as good as a ride at Disneyland so here is Aubree holding onto Hayley for dear life.
What could be better than ice cream? How about someone to come in and give the baths after the kids are done eating the ice cream.
(someday Aubree is going to be very mad that I posted this picture of her trying to like her lips)
