We have had some challenging moments at dinner lately when it comes to eat vegetables. I have learned it is always easier to hide them in the food however we also have at least one visible so the kids learn to eat them. Awhile back I got the book by Jessica Seinfeld and pureed and froze a bunch of vegetables. After weeks of not using the frozen puree I thought why not use baby food puree? Its just pureed fruits and vegetables right? Well that's what I thought I have done it a few times and it has worked out but this time it didn't quit work out the way I planned. I added squash to the sauce for the lasagna and it maybe had too much water added. Tasted great the kids didn't even know about the squash, but too runny. All in all a good dinner but a little messy.

Dad suggests you don't precook the noodles. Put them in the lasagna hard and let the water in the squash cook them. You have to cook it longer, but we have done this before and it works beautifully. Good work, perfect mom!!!
